The Manor Hotel
Published: 12 August 2025
Following the Extraordinary Meeting on 2 June, where many residents expressed strong concerns about the future of the Manor Hotel and the distress caused by its use as an asylum seeker hotel, Datchet Parish Council has sought direct engagement with its owners. The last contact we received from the Manor Hotel was an email on 13 June cancelling a scheduled meeting for 19 June, after which they have ignored all further requests to meet or respond.
In the meantime, DPC has written to the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) on 22 July, urging them to stand with us in opposing any new contracts the hotel owners might seek or accept that could further damage the wellbeing of Datchet’s residents and businesses. RBWM’s letter, dated 4 August, has failed to allay our concerns.
Please see below and let us know your thoughts and suggestions ASAP by replying to clerk@datchetparishcouncil.gov.uk.
