Royal Borough schools top of the class

Schools in the Royal Borough continue to deliver impressive results for children and young people according to a new report published this week.

The report reveals educations services have continued to maintain high standards of achievement across all key stages – even beating national averages in a variety of areas!

Green light for safer and smoother journeys

We have completed a major programme of traffic signal and pedestrian crossing improvements in the Royal Borough.

Funded through grants from central government, the upgrades include the refurbishment and installation of key junctions, pedestrian crossings and traffic signalling, including upgraded intelligent systems that improve traffic flow – leading to safer streets for pedestrians and smoother journeys for drivers!

The Royal Borough in bloom

The annual Garden in Bloom competition is now live! It’s a great way to brighten up neighbourhoods and benefit health and wellbeing.

Any garden visible from a public footpath is eligible for entry. Visit the webpage for more info on eligibility and how to nominate a garden.
